I picked this large bull out of the heard. The
distance was 198 yards on my rangefinder. From a prone position, and with the
use of a bipod, I sent a Norma 200gr. Oryx
bullet directly behind the front shoulder, just under the spine of the
Wildebeest. The Black Wildebeest collapsed immediately. Back at camp later that
evening, upon retrieving the bullet, I found it to have performed exactly as
expected. It had mushroomed perfectly, penetrated to the far side, and looked
just like the picture in Norma's catalogue.
