Impala are found in herds of 20 or more. During the winter months the herds are usually larger, sometimes numbering 100 or more. The average Impala weighs about 150lbs. This Impala is a good example of the type of trophy you can expect to take while on safari in South Africa. I took this one with a 300 win mag. at 180 yards.
